Welcome To Sandbar SUP

Sandbar was born from our love of Stand Up Paddle boarding and the love of being on the water. Whether you choose the ocean, rivers, canals or lakes, the words are universal – You’ll Never Know, Unless You Go.

Due to circumstances out of our control, sadly, we are closing early this season, but we will be returning in 2022 ready with hires of the amazing FatStick boards.

Thank you for the support in 2021

Hire Policy

Sandbar will cancel hires if weather conditions become dangerous. Your safety and ensuring you enjoy your time is extremely important to us.

We check the weather constantly throughout the day

Due to Andy having to have shoulder surgery, there will be no lessons from Sandbar for the foreseeable, however please get in touch as we can put you in contact with some great places on and around the south.

Your first port of call for lessons should be this dude!

We can still get you out there!

We use only FatStick boards due to their mission alone! Focussed on getting people out on the water, FatStick have created quality Inflatable Paddleboards that are DualFusion Tech – which ultimately means that they are stronger, lighter and more rigid than most boards.

ISA & SLS GB Qualified Instuctor

You will always be in the safest of hands and every session will be assessed and planned well in advance. That way, all you have to do, is enjoy.

Although Hayling Island is our home, we can bring the fun to you. We also have several locations where we can teach, SUP for fun and get you out there.

We’re lucky enough to work with Boat Club Trafalgar and utilise their dock.

What Do You Need?

Nothing – Just you! Sandbar will provide the SUPs, Electric Pumps, Wet Suits, PFDs along with the right board for the right adventure.

You'll Never Know, Unless You Go

Sandbar SUP is lucky to work with and be here because of a great network of businesses and associations. We actively encourage people to get out on the water and to be involved in Paddleboarding – without the organisations above, this wouldn’t be possible, as such, we thank them….lots!
